We had and amazing stay!!!! Amanda and Paul are very sweet and so accommodating. The room was very so nice and comfortable we both loved how it was decorated. The ranch was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it. Breakfast was so delicious and we both enjoyed the nice home cooked meal. Will definitely tell everyone and hope to stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed the most wonderful type of vacation this year -- we just drove through East Texas over the course of a week, exploring communities we'd never seen, roaming through antique shops and eating some fabulous food. Undoubtedly, one of the true highlights was spending time at The Ranch at Walston Springs. Amanda and Paul were fabulous hosts, from the spectacular breakfasts -- ask for the French toast! -- to the peaceful, quaint cabin we enjoyed for two nights.
The Palestine area is lovely and worth exploring, including the incredible Oxbow Bakery and Switch Brick Oven Pizzeria, but nothing compared to the rocking chairs on the porch outside our cabin, enjoying a drink, a good book and the serenading of the birds throughout the property.
Blessed moments!

Amanda & Paul are awesome. They will go above and beyond to for you. We stayed in the Cowboy room. Can I just say I fell in love with the shower. Also the breakfast was out standing. Truly a lovely place to stay. Quiet, Relaxing and Romantic all in one. The grounds are beautiful I enjoyed sitting out on the swing even though it was pretty chilli. This is definitely the place to stay if your ever in the area or just looking for a nice little get away this is the place. Also they have a nice area for events. Definitely make a beautiful wedding venue if your looking for that outdoor/country wedding.

Amanda and Paul are very nice, accommodating and hospitable. The grounds are very peaceful and it is very affordable. We enjoyed being able to relax and just enjoy ourselves in peace and comfort. We came to visit family. We come from a bust place and I thoroughly enjoy this area. The pond is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about them and their property. The cabins are very comfortable and supply everything you could need. Definitely check this place out.
Wow! What a great place to celebrate our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Just booked this place on a chance and what a great surprise! From the very first phone call to the end our 4 day stay, we could not have been treated better buy the owners, Amanda and Paul. Beautiful people who want to go the extra mile to make you comfortable. We stayed at the Dog Trot House built in 1891 in The Country Room. Could not have been more fun and restful. WHAT A NEAT FIND! We will be coming back and bring our friends and family. Thanks Amanda and Paul for your great hospitality!

Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Yall have a beautiful place and are the hostesses with the mostest 🙂
The room was just right and a fun place to get away and step back in time. Breakfast was delicious. We know where to stay when we come back to visit.
God Bless you both!
What an amazing Hidden Gem this place is. We came into town for a family emergency, after having so much at once and just needing a break. We stumbled on this Beautiful B&B. To anyone that loves Country living or loves the Country. Well this is it. You get the most amazing country cooked Breakfast brought to your room or to eat on the porch. There is also Snacks, drinks, coffee, and Fruit Loops. We needed peace, we needed still, and we needed time to just heal from so much grief. Well we got all of that and more. You drive up surrounded by woods and quiet. You almost feel like your walking back into time with the updates of today. our rustic little B&B was comfy, romantic, and again we felt like it was back in time. The bed was comfortable, towels soft, wifi works good, and well we didn't watch TV but its there. The B&B is connected by a Dog run connecting 3 rooms. On the porch their is tables, rocking chairs,, porch swings and a beautiful sitting area.. Actually no matter where you sit the view is breathtaking and peaceful.. Hubs and I walked under the starlight, danced at night, under the pavilion with little with twinkle lights (like a Hallmark movie). We even played on the playground like kids. Everytime we walked around we found some new hidden beauty. Theres a place to fish (so bring your gear). There are games to play like dominos, chess, and horseshoes. BYOB well there is a fridge area for that. Waking up early to see the sun rise one night is a must. Yet to see the fire in the sky while its setting is a must as well. Ohhh did I say Fire? That is right you can request for a camp fire surrounded by cozy little benches/porch swings and enjoy smores. Out of all the things I have mentioned well the best part is your host Paul and Amanda they bring such an energy and light to the place. Just like the Old West was you were treated like a friend or family not a room number. So I am sad to right this amazing Review in fear of it getting booked to much. When ever we visit our family we are staying here. If there's no room we will sleep with the chickens. Thats how much we love it and this is our go to home from home. Thank you Paul and Amanda we really needed your place and it exceeded what we needed.
Dear Paul and Amanda,
Thank you for this amazing stay. We absolutely love the place and are so thankful we were able to have such a beautiful wedding here. We appreciate everything yall have done! Definitely will be coming back.

First and foremost, Amanda and her husband, Paul (Owners), are incredible! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. I took my Mom here for her Birthday; she stayed in the "Country Room," and I stayed in the "Cowboy Room." Both rooms are inside a Brezzway house built in the late 1800s and decorated remarkably; I believe Amanda decorated them herself. The beds are very comfortable; each room is cozy and has a clawfoot bathtub; you can sit in and relax.
Amanda makes a delicious home-cooked breakfast; she also went out of her way to make my Mom a chocolate cake and, it was superb! The scenery is gorgeous and ever so peaceful; there is a one-acre spring-fed lake surrounded by beautiful Pine and Oak trees. The property itself is lovely and consists of wooded areas and open land, a great mixture. Although I didn't get a chance to go fishing, it is an option, and because it's on private property, you don't need a fishing license. If you are looking for a place to stay where you will receive spectacular customer service, peace and quiet, and a place to relax, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. To say the least, my Mom and I enjoyed our visit, and we plan to go back again and again.

This place was perfect!
The owners go above and beyond for you and your guests and I couldn't have asked for a better location, venue, or owners.
Y'all are amazing! Y'all are seriously the best! I would recommend this place for weddings all the way to just a getaway! So peaceful and so pretty!
