The Ranch at Walston Springs is a unique rustic retreat offering Bed and Breakfast Accommodations, Event Facilities, Cabins and Corporate/Extended Stay Housing. We are family owned and family operated offering modern conveniences while honoring a past era where life was simple, hospitality was mandatory, land was treasured, and family/friends/guests were always welcome. The Ranch is conveniently located just 3 miles south of Historic Palestine (approx. 2 hours from Dallas or Houston). Other nearby attractions include The Texas State Railroad, Davey Dogwood Park, and Historic Old Town.
From the moment you drive on the property, you’ll find “country landscaping”. Wild grape vines and our “little piggy pen” line the front drive. Enjoy a stroll around the property and you’ll find antique “garden beds” filled with flowers and vegetables, the old Model-T resting in the woods, rustic tractors, farm implements, and eclectic décor. Cast a line in the spring fed lake, exchange vows or host an event in our early 1900’s Chapel or just sit a spell in the rocker on the front porch and enjoy nature’s beauty.

The Ranch at Walston Springs offers a unique Bed and Breakfast experience. We are not your typical B&B located in an Victorian House in a downtown area.
The Dogtrot has only 3 rooms, in a separate building from the rest of the property. Each of our rooms offer a unique theme, a glimpse of days gone by, and a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The rooms all offer private entrance and bath.
Nothing fancy here, just southern hospitality and good home cookin’.
The Country
Charmingly decorated with a primitive and rustic style, The Country Room lets you step back in time. The Country Room offers a Queen Size bed and private bath with antique clawfoot bathtub and shower.
The Shady Lady
A little lady, a little shady. Our uniquely adorned version of an Old West Brothel Room. The Shady Lady offers a beautiful queen size bed and full private bath with antique clawfoot tub and shower.
The Cowboy
Sleep under the stars in the Cowboy Room. The Cowboy Room features our unique & one of a kind “Jail Cell” shower in The Sherriff’s office bathroom. The warm and cozy main room has queen size bed, sitting area, and small dining area.
Our cabins are the perfect place to call home, away from home.
The quiet country setting of our cabins is a great alternative to traditional hotel style lodging.
Whether you stay a night, a week, a month or longer, you’ll find the fully furnished cabins to be comfortable and cozy.
All our cabins offer air conditioning, satellite television, and Wi-Fi is available.
Most cabins are small pet friendly.
